My bio

Judith h as worked in the nonprofit sector since the late 1990's. After her first year of school at Sarah Lawrence College, she received her Bachelor's Degree in Pre-law Humanities at Michigan State University in the Honors College, and was summa cum laude in her Nonprofit Management M.S. program at Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies in Chicago. While working at the ACLU, she advocated for prisoners in solitary confinement, and undocumented immigrants. She lived three years in Oaxaca, Mexico and spent two summers running fire education teams in the Mountain West with the Bureau of Land Management and the Student Conservation Association. Her involvement with NVC dates back to 2001. Since 2008, Judith has worked to map her understanding of NVC to the local Bay Area social change sector with Bay Area Nonviolent Communication ( Judith also works part-time as Development Officer at Bay Nature Institute in Berkeley. Other organizations she has worked with include:
